MALCOLM WATSON thinks he has come up with the perfect thing for those long summer months – the coldest ice cream on the planet.
The science communicator's creation, which is made with liquid nitrogen, was unveiled at Wonderama, part of the Edinburgh Science Festival.

This year's festival has included the usual mix of thought-provoking discussions and experiments.

Science Festival favourite Dr Bunhead is to showcase the destruction of inanimate objects in his Crash Test Jelly Babies show. There have been a host of hands-on activities on offer for children.

Yeah. Let's all eat ice-cream made from liquid nitrogen at -196 deg C. sounds like a good idea to me and I don't think.

Strange that in the home of curry, and I'm not talking about Bradford (!), they drink hot tea on hot days and don't touch cold drinks. The idea is to raise the body temperature to enable it to cope better with the outside temperature. And it does work!

to my narrow minded closely named friend. i have had some of the ice cream in question. It tasted amazing and was perfectly safe. so mump and moan some where else. Try Burma...
