ACTOR Brian Cox travelled more than 3,000 miles to pay tribute to his kiltmaker.
Cox was guest of honour at a party to celebrate the opening of Howie Nicholsby's new 21st Century Kilts showroom in Thistle Street, Edinburgh, on Thursday.

He described Nicholsby, 30, as a "dynamo" who had created for him his favourite outfit – a white linen kilt and jacket.
