SCOTLAND manager Alex McLeish breathed a huge sigh of relief when rumours he heard in Spain of Scott Brown suffering a broken leg proved greatly exaggerated.
McLeish, who was at the Nou Camp on Wednesday to watch Rangers' draw with Barcelona, feared he would be without Brown for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy on 17 November after Benfica midfielder Augustin Binya's poor tackle on the Celtic man.
"It was a very poor tackle, there is no doubt about it," said McLeish.
"We obviously have a game-plan in mind and Scott would be very important in those plans."
