COWDENBEATH lost to a Partick Thistle side that contained new signing from Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bryan Hodge, in a friendly played at Edinburgh University.
The Jags goals came from a trialist striker, Liam Buchanan, Paul Cairney and Kris Doolan.
