ABERDEEN trialist Lecsinel Jean-Francois insists he is now ready to carve out a career in Scotland as he bids to win a deal with the Dons.
The Haiti international had a short spell with fellow SPL side Falkirk but failed to settle at the time.

But now he is now hoping to impress Jimmy Calderwood during the Dons' pre-season tour of Holland.

Jean-Francois said: "Before, I was very young, I was 18, and that's why I was remembering my family. But now I am more mature and I can be without my family. I hope to sign with Aberdeen because I like this club."

Meanwhile, defender Zander Diamond could be out of action for up to six weeks after aggravating a foot injury during Monday night's 1-0 friendly win over Brechin.
