UK big cat sightings take a leap

MORE than 10,000 sightings of unusual and exotic animals have been reported in the UK since 2000 and the figure is set to grow, according to a new study.
The reported sightings includes a dramatic increase in big cat incidents to 5931; 332 wild boars and 3389 sharks in British waters.

I cannot help wondering if its an increase in the number of these creatures being sighted, or an increase in the type of people who think they see them.

Well they are certainly in Australia with something like 12000 sightings and only one carcase. Mainly black and panther like. The cattle farmers are losing quite a lot of cattle which they reckon is not due to the roos or possums. Although this has not a lot to do with large cats in the UK, the panther is not a natural inhabitant of Australia either. Quite an interesting development considering the total destruction of so many species. There could be one that actually likes us.
