Easyjet cuts one in 10 managers' jobs

EASYJET is cutting nearly one in ten management and office jobs at its Luton headquarters because of high fuel prices.
The no-frills airline said 50 to 60 of 655 such posts would go.
A spokeswoman said it was facing "an unprecedented challenge due to the continuing high oil prices". She added: "We expect the whole industry to face a bloody winter, with substantial casualties as airlines cut back and/or go under."
