BUDGET airline Ryanair is set to launch its new base at Edinburgh Airport after the project was delayed earlier this year.
The low-cost carrier will begin operating a number of new routes from Wednesday, including Berlin and Stockholm.

The firm blamed a strike by workers at US plane-making giant Boeing in September for a six-week delay in the project.

The new destinations are Berlin, Billund, Bournemouth, Bratislava, Lodz, Malaga, Poznan, Stockholm and Wroclaw. New routes to Krakow and Palma will be launched in December.
