Model boats set for launch

A FLOTILLA of cardboard boats will set sail from Portobello on Saturday.
Visitors over the past month have been encouraged to follow in the wake of amateur boat modellers and DIY sailors and get involved in making their own model boats at a series of workshops.

Artist Liz Webster launched her art project, Float Your Own Boat, this month as part of Big Things on The Beach.

The launch is at the Promenade on Saturday at 3.30pm.
