AN East Lothian woman has devised a novel way to beat the housing market slump.
Ellen Foreman has created an art exhibition featuring photos of her two-bedroom flat. She said after months of negativity she wanted to come up with a unique way of shifting her Haddington property, it was reported today.

"It seemed that whenever I switched on the TV, opened a newspaper or spoke to friends about my decision to sell the flat, I was met by doom and gloom news about the credit crunch and falling house prices," said the 38-year-old, whose flat is on sale for £162,000.

The exhibition, organised by Haddington and District Community Council, runs until Sunday.
