High 5: Jennifer Hutton
Jennifer Hutton, 51, a personnel manager from Dundas Street, gives her top five places to enjoy coffee and a scone.
1 John Lewis top floor cafe, St James Centre. I think these are the best cheese scones in Edinburgh. The views over the city are amazing.
2 The Royal Botanic Garden terrace cafe. I love sitting outside and having a coffee here on a sunny day. I often take friends here when they're visiting Edinburgh.
3 The Peter Potter gallery, Haddington. This is a lovely little gallery that's run by volunteers, with work by local artists and potters. They have a wonderful cafe upstairs with some of the pictures on display.
4 The National Gallery, Princes Street. This is a good place to meet friends for a coffee and a chat. If I've got spare time, I'll pop in and look at the pictures as well.
5 The Cornerstone Cafe, West End. All the tea and coffee is fairtrade, and they use lots of organic food. They do great vegetarian lunches as well. The prices are very reasonable too.
