Lindsay Dick, 26, a trainee physiotherapist from Parkhead, chooses her top five places to go on a date.
A Room in the Town, Howe Street. It's nice food and it's all lit up by candles. It's bring your own bottle too.

Loch Fyne Restaurant, Pier Place. It's right on Newhaven pier and you get lovely views of the water.

Olorosso, Castle Street. You get a really romantic view of the Castle as you're eating your dinner.

The German Market, Princes Street Gardens. I went there on my first date with my boyfriend and it was lovely.

Bella M'Briana, Broughton Street. It's got great seafood and really friendly, welcoming staff.
