2 Canongate Cemetery Some of the stories about people being buried alive during plague times gave me nightmares.

3 Mary King's Close That room with the wee girl's dolls is like something out of The Shining.

4 Fleshmarket Close Just the name of this place conjures up unpleasant thoughts.

5 Mercat Cross Some of the torture that went on there is eye-watering
