Sean Judge, 25, a PR officer from Ravelston, lists his five favourite Indian restaurants in Edinburgh.
1 Morningside Spice, Morningside Road The food is outstanding and the restaurant feels really authentic as well.

2 The Raj, The Shore It must have one of the best views of any restaurant in the city.

3 Tippoo Sahib, Rose Street When you walk in you get the idea you're dining somewhere really special.

4 Khushi's, Victoria Street It doesn't have a licence, which keeps the bill down, and though the menu is small, the dishes are first class.

5 Passage to India, Leith Walk You always get a really friendly reception, and the food has a real edge.

cannot see how Khushi`s got on that list. They were good in Drummond St but now VERY poor in Victoria St AND VERY EXPENSIVE. there are a dozen better places. They do not any longer do a Madras or a couple of other items that you would expect. When I went up to pay, there were two men at the desk approx 45 to 50 years who seemed to be in charge and they were very rude to customers in front of me and me, when it came to my turn. I will not be back. I spent over 15 years eating at most of the Indo/pak resaurants and t/aways in Edinburgh
