Derek Geddes, 28, manager of Dollond and Aitchison on London Road, picks his top five Edinburgh celebrities.
1. JK Rowling. She's probably the most well known Scottish person in the world right now because of her Harry Potter books.

2. Sean Connery. Because he's James Bond! The classic Scotsman in a movie role.

3. Alexander Graham Bell. He's a celebrity of science, and deserves to be up there.

4. Greyfriars Bobby. It's a bit of comedy one! One of my colleagues had a relative from America who thought he was a man.

5. Chris Hoy. Working opposite Meadowbank it's so good to see someone who trained there go on to such a great achievement.
