Stuart Burns, 34, an Edinburgh taxi driver, lists his five favourite takeaway shops.
Malone's, Slateford Road Open all night, it's on my way home. The bran scones are the best in town.

Greggs Bakers, various branches throughout the city They have excellent cheese and onion pasties and custard slices.

Donachie, Corstorphine An old bakers that's been there for years. The soft rolls are superb.

Scott, Juniper Green The homemade soup is really nice here. There's always two or three different kinds. My favourite is potato and leek.

Mathieson and Sons, Mayfield Road A nice quiet bakers. It's always easy to get parked outside with no parking attendants moving you on.
