Corellie Bonhomme is a Canadian citizen currently locked up in the Dungavel immigration detention centre. Here she tells The Scotsman about her arrest and incarceration
I'VE BEEN locked up here in Dungavel for over four weeks, and being separated from my daughter Fi is an extreme form of torture. If she was with me I could focus on her and immigration could take as long as they wanted.

Then why let her visa run out before having it renewed? Seems pretty irresponsible for a mother to do, and I think I would be agreed with.
