WITH only a few days left to go, I am in what can only be described as a quandary. I just cannot make up my mind how to vote this Thursday.
I am trying to make an informed decision, looking beyond the phoney war over independence to consider the merits of the parties' policies on crucial issues such as justice. I began to wonder how many of their promises would stand up to even this humb...

Disappointed that a BritsMan Columnist continues to peddle Tommy Sheridan's class-angst myth about "taking the wage of a skilled worker" .
Tommy Sheridan and the rest of his fellow-travellers got the MSP Salary to which they were (God help us) entitled. How they subsequently disburse their 'wages' is entirely their affair.

I too have been disappointed by the parties lack of clarity on the issue of access to justice and so on. Probably the best though, has been the Greens. They have stressed the importance of civil liberties, and have (rightly to my mind), criticised the libdems for an unprincipled retreat on this their traditional ground.
