Probably the best though, has been the Greens. They have stressed the importance of civil liberties, and have (rightly to my mind), criticised the libdems for an unprincipled retreat on this their traditional ground.

Tommy Sheridan and the rest of his fellow-travellers got the MSP Salary to which they were (God help us) entitled. How they subsequently disburse their 'wages' is entirely their affair.
