IT appears that the famous Livingston drummers could soon be beating a tune for new hero Fernando Giarrizo.
Livingston fans had to wait a few weeks to see their Argentinian midfielder run out for the first team, but they must have been impressed once he did.
He made his full debut for the Lions in the morale-boosting 3-0 victory over Dundee last Saturd
ay, setting up the first goal and playing a major part in the third after finally getting clearance to play.
He also prompted a fightback in the 2-1 defeat to Ross County after coming on as a second-half substitute the week previous.
Boss Roberto Landi believes the midfielder is finally ready to show what he can do after arriving in late August from Romanian outfit Otelul Galati.
"He is a good solution for us in midfield. He is a good performer and allows us to hold the defensive line a little bit better.
"We had to wait for clearance from the Argentina Football Federation before he could play. As soon as we got that, two weeks ago, I put him in the squad."
Livingston face Partick at home tomorrow who are two points behind the table-topping Lions in the First Division.
Both clubs had games against the Old Firm in midweek but Livingston will have a day's rest over the Jags after losing to Celtic on Tuesday.
Landi added: "My boys won't be affected by Tuesday. It was a great experience for them to play against Celtic, a special experience for the youngsters in the team.
"Confidence has not been affected. I watched Partick against Rangers and I was upset for them.
"To concede a late goal in extra time like that, was heartbreaking for them. They played well, with the ball on the floor.
"I like the way they played and they will be tough to beat."
