Dental centre opens wide
THE new Bonnyrigg dental centre has opened its doors to patients after work was completed.
It has five surgeries and a decontamination unit for instruments, and provides emergency care for people who are not registered with their own dentist.
It also contains a special paediatric dentist, who will take referrals from other practitioners working in the area, and a special care dentist who treats adults and children with learning disabilities and complex medical problems.
It is staffed by 15 to 20 dentists and dental care professionals, who are supported by six administration workers.
