THE site of two former primary schools in Midlothian have been put up for sale by the local council.
The grounds of the former Cranston Primary in Edgehead and the former St Margaret's Primary in Loanhead have both been advertised for sale as "development opportunities".

The now vacant St Margaret's site covers almost three acres and the council is looking for offers over £1.25 million.

Offers over £250,000 are being sought for the Cranston site. All offers must be submitted to the council by July 1.
