Great!
Took a long time coming thanks to Edinburgh's labour/communist council of the past
And before all the moaners crawl out of the woodwork complaining about the cost, it was paid for via private donations to the Adam Smith Institute, you divvies!
Smith is one of the most important figures to ever come out of Scotland and its about time he was given proper recognition in the capital.

Just a pity that his fellow Fifer didn't inherit even a tiny part of his brilliance!

Seems right has triumphed at last, long overdue. When I visited his grave I could hardly get close for Japanese tourists. Great and fitting statue to one of the world's greatest economists.

Re. #4 and #6, Kirsty Wark is 3 dogs all by herself. Is there any beginning to her talent?

A first class monument.
I'd also like to see fitting monument to Robert Louis Stevenson in Edinburgh.

Thank you #8, I thought Smith was from Kirkcaldy.
And #12, doesn't Stevenson have a statue across from Jenners in the Gardens????
