#1 no, the martinis will be schaken & schtirred ! :smiles:

Well, this is great news that 6 of Sean Connery's Bond films, digitally restored, will be shown in Edinburgh at The Filmhouse.

Personally, Dr Blockbuster would have liked to see these shown at The Odeon at South Clerk St. Edinburgh since it shares Sir Sean's birth date and accordingly was the reason that the premiere of the James Bond film Diamonds are Forever took place there in 1972 and then the Entrapment premiere with Catherine Zeta Jones in 1999.

As Sir Sean Connery said "It’s a fantastic film centre, full of character, with fond memories for me. The Odeon is exactly the kind of facility that Edinburgh should be building up - not shutting down."

Sadly, The Odeon is closed for development, but what's the latest on this?

Setting that aside, The Filmhouse is the deserving second best. Any more information on this "Broccoli, Cubby Broccoli" season would be welcome! Perhaps The Filmhouse site will reveal.

Bond: "Do you expect me to talk?"
Goldfinger: NO! Mr Bond ... I expect you to die!"
