What is your earliest memory of Edinburgh? Visiting Edinburgh as a small child and its architecture and character leaving a lasting impression on me. It's one of the reasons I have made it my home.
What are your memories of school I loved sch
ool, particularly in the summer. I went to Garforth Comprehensive in Leeds and it had such a big open playing field. At break times we would all go and sit out on the grass and make daisy chains.
Where is your favourite place in Edinburgh and why? Cramond, because its like being in the country yet you are so near the city. I live nearby and my partner and I often look out of the front window of our house and revel in the quietness and greenery.
What are the best things about Edinburgh? It's really cosmopolitan and has come along leaps and bounds as a destination spot for nightlife and shopping over the past couple of years. As well as being a sociable city it still has pockets of village life near its heart, such as Bruntsfield and Stockbridge.
What would you change about the city? Getting about at the moment is a logistical nightmare and you really have to add time on to your appointments to allow for traffic hold ups; temporary redirection and then parking.
Describe a perfect day / night out in Edinburgh. It would certainly involve a bit of shopping along George Street and a hair appointment with Marissa at Brian Drum. I'd then meet up with friends for a chatty get together at Thai Lemongrass in Bruntsfield.
Which sports interest you? Most sports don't do much for me and I have never been a football or a rugby girl. However, my design team will be doing the Moonwalk in June so we had better start training.
What was your most embarrassing moment? There have been so many – from facials that have gone spectacularly wrong to tripping up in the middle of London's Bond Street because I wasn't wearing sensible shoes.
What is your greatest achievement? My work is my greatest achievement but maintaining close relationships with friends and family is also important.
Sum up Edinburgh in three words. Eclectic, evolving and home.
