EAST Stirlingshire defeated Second Division Brechin City 2-0 in a closed-door friendly on Saturday.
An own goal and a super strike from Craig Donaldson had the Third Division team two goals to the good before the interval.
"I was pleased with the performance," said Shire coach Jim McInally. "I thought the players looked fit and a win is a nice boost for morale as well."
