Superbikes: Local favourite Easton challenges at Knockhill

JOSH Brookes took his first British Superbike pole with a blistering lap around Knockhill to head off series leader Leon Camier. Brookes powered his HM Plant Honda in a lap of 48.759 seconds to edge out Airwaves Yamaha rider Camier for today's race by almost a third of a second.
Local favourite Stuart Easton, riding the Hydrex Honda in front of his Scottish fans, finished third fastest, with Michael Rutter aboard the Worx Crescent Suzuki completing the front row.

Karl Harris headed up the second row for Hydrex Honda with a time of 49.183secs ahead of James Ellison on the second Airwaves bike.
