A MAN who plunged over a 100ft cliff at a holiday resort was saved when he landed in a tree.
The 32-year-old suffered a leg injury when he fell at Hope's Nose in Torquay, Devon. The alarm was raised when the man, said to be local to the area, was spotted by a member of the public around 50ft down the cliff face. "Luckily he had landed in the roots of a tree," said a Coastguard spokesman.
