A 14-YEAR-OLD girl wept yesterday as she told a jury how a high-profile Muslim community leader sexually assaulted her.
The girl described how Perth businessman Farooq Hussain forced himself on her while she was helping him decorate one of his flats.

She said her chest was left bruised as a result of the attack.

The jury at Perth Sheriff Court was told that Hussain said: "Do you know what this will do to me? You will ruin my life," as the schoolgirl told him she would report him to the police.

Hussain, head of a mosque in Perth and a prominent member of Scotland's Muslim community, is accused of indecently assaulting the girl at an address in Crieff Road on 1 or 2 July last year and at New Row, on 4 August.

He is also alleged to have sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl and another 14-year-old girl in two incidents in Perth in November 2002. He denies the allegations.

The trial continues.
