Electricity firm in meter gaffe
ELECTRICITY giant E.On has apologised after an address mix-up meant an electricity meter was installed in the home of a woman who is not even its customer.
Osteopath Anna Tonkin, from Brunwell, Norfolk, did not realise for two weeks that strangers had gained entry to her cottage to fit the pre-payment meter.
