A SPOOKY tale of witch hunters in Scotland is to be staged at Craigmillar Castle next weekend.
The castle will be one of five venues across Scotland to host the Burn The Witch show, a story about the hunt for devil worshippers in the Middle Ages.

Visitors to Craigmillar on October 8 will be taken on a tour by four witch hunters as they seek out those in league with the devil.

They will share secrets of how they root out and deal with witches, and tell chilling tales of some of the darkest days and deeds of Scottish history.

Organisers Historic Scotland have warned that the shows are not for the faint hearted.

Nick Finnigan, Historic Scotland events manager, said: "We're delighted to be able to bring back this hugely entertaining event this year and enable a wider audience to enjoy it."

The two shows at Craigmillar will take place at 7.30pm and 9.15pm. Group sizes are limited to around 50
