TODAY is the final chance for readers to vote for their Seven Wonders of Scotland, as The Scotsman's quest to find the public's favourite national icons comes to an end.
More than 45,000 people have already voted for the seven things that make them say "wow" - by post, e-mail, text, telephone or by visiting
www.scotsman.com/7wonders The 30 wonders on the shortlist - including the Forth Bridge, whisky and golf - have been championed by well-known personalities in the newspaper over the past six weeks. Some voters have come up with their own shortlists, with Gaelic and the Falkirk Wheel popular suggestions. Voting closes at midnight tonight.
A free commemorative supplement - to be published on 8 April - will reveal the seven winning wonders.
"The response has been fantastic," said David Lee, Assistant Editor of The Scotsman. "We wanted to start a debate and highlight all the exciting and wondrous things that Scotland has to offer. We certainly seem to have achieved that."
