Opposition leader to be prosecuted

MALAYSIAN authorities yesterday announced they will prosecute opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim for allegedly sexually assaulting a male aide last June, complicating his bid to return to parliament in a by-election less than three weeks away.
Mr Anwar insists the allegation was fabricated to thwart his plan of seizing power.
